With a length of six kilometres and a maximum depth of 76.6 metres, lake Plansee is the second largest lake in Tyrol. The average water temperature in summer is a refreshing 17 to 22 °C.

Located right next to lake Plansee, the lake Heiterwangersee is connected to its "big brother" by a narrow, 300-metre-long canal. Here, too, you can relax and unwind in a beautiful mountain setting.
