You can get your Aktiv Card for the Reutte Nature Park Region (holiday companion "Elfie") at the reception. You will also be asked to provide an active e-mail address at the reception so that you can receive messages on your mobile phone.  With the "Activ Card" you can use the facilities and events of the Tourist Association at a reduced price or even free of charge. Perfectly groomed ski tracks can be found in the Reutte valley basin, in Graswang, Ettal and Oberammergau (each about a 20-minute drive from Alpehotel Ammerwald).  

Special tip: The closest cross-country ski track is the "Sonnenloipe am Plansee". It starts at Musteralpe. The track is 3.8 kilometres long. More tips and information are available at reception.

We ask for your understanding that we charge a deposit/loan fee for certain items (e.g. umbrellas). 

This will be charged to your account until the item is returned in good order.

The fire alarm is triggered by

Dismantling of fire alarm (even for a very short time!) 

Smoking in the rooms 

Cooking in the rooms (kettle etc.)

Producing smoke (incense sticks etc.) 

Any repair or maintenance costs incurred as a result of misconduct or deliberate triggering of fire alarms will be charged to the person 

responsible. 

Damaged push-button fire alarms trigger a direct alarm at the Tyrolean fire brigade control centre. This cannot be 

stopped or cancelled by us. 

Any costs incurred by the fire brigade will be charged to the person responsible.

Fitness equipment is available free of charge on the 1st floor of the basement. Please do not leave children unsupervised.

Parents are responsible for their children.

For your own safety, a fire alarm/smoke detector is installed in every room. Please do not use naked flames and avoid heavy smoke or fumes (e.g. hairspray or fumes from open bathroom doors).

Dismantling the fire detectors will cause a false alarm (see false alarm).  In the event of an alarm, please remain calm and evacuate your room and the building immediately via the marked green escape routes. 

Please follow the instructions of the hotel staff.  

Surprise your loved ones with flowers for their birthday or wedding anniversary. We are happy to help you with the organisation.

No parking is available in front of the hotel. 

Please keep the hotel entrance, supplier entrance and workshop exit clear at all times (fire brigade access/parking area).

You are welcome to post your mail at reception. You can also buy stamps from us.

You can use our convenient pre-check-in service from home or while travelling. You will receive the link for this together with your booking confirmation.

The current opening hours of our various catering establishments can be found in the current guest information leaflet. Our reception staff will also be happy to provide you with information. 

In addition to your room door, your key cards also open the side entrance to the car park and, during general opening hours, the entrance to the indoor pool and sauna. 

Once in your room, you must insert your card into the card reader in order to use the lights and electricity.  

Do not remove the card until you leave the room.  

Please note: When the card is removed, the entire power supply is interrupted and all lights are switched off. The sockets will also be disconnected.  

There is a deposit on the key cards. 

If the card is lost, the hotel reserves the right to charge a deposit/loss fee of € 5.00 for a new card to be issued.

Our hotel sauna, a Finnish sauna with a temperature of 90 °C, is open daily from 02:00 pm - 09:00 pm. Would you prefer to use the sauna in the morning? We are happy to open the sauna earlier on request, except on Sundays. The sauna is closed on Sunday mornings for cleaning.

We charge a cleaning fee of € 1.50 per towel.  

Cooking in the hotel rooms is prohibited. 

It is also not permitted to take food and drink into our restaurants and bars.  

Our hotel bus with driver is available for up to six people.

We charge € 3.00 per kilometre driven.

Please do not take your ski boots to your room, but take them to our ski cellar. There is a ski boot dryer and holders for the safe storage of your own skis. 

Sledges can be hired per sledge per day for a fee plus a deposit. Ask for availability at our reception desk. 

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the hotel. It is permitted on our terraces and in our smoking pavilion. 

Small souvenirs, especially regional spirits, can be purchased at our reception. Take a look at our display case; the reception staff will be happy to advise you.

You can swim in our indoor pool from 07:00 am to 09:00 pm. 

The indoor pool is closed on Sunday mornings for cleaning. 

The depth of the pool is 1.40 metres throughout and the pool temperature is 28 °C. 

The taxi service of the Reutte holiday region is available for excursions from mid-May until the end of October daily from 09:00 am to 06:00 pm. 

With your Aktiv Card, the fare is currently only € 4.00 per person and trip.

We kindly ask you to inform us immediately of any broken light bulbs or other defects. In this way we can ensure that it is repaired as soon as possible.

The towels in your room are changed as required.  

Help us to protect the environment by avoiding unnecessary towel changes.

The nearest train stations are Reutte and Oberau or Oberammergau. We can print out timetables for you at the reception. 

You are welcome to use our clothes drying cupboard in the basement/ski room.
